The Chris West Gallery

I am an artist and have lived all my life in Norfolk, surrounded by the beauties of the countryside, the skies and the sea. It was the skies that I saw morning and evening on my drive to and from work that inspired me to seriously take up painting once again. The luminosity and play of light in these skies demanded to be painted and watercolours are the best way to convey the transient moment and to portray the colours that the English language simply does not have words to describe.
