How does it work?
You as an artist supply us with digital images (or photographs see below) of your works. The photos are uploaded from your PC to our site. Every image on this site is rotated so that no item receives greater preference than any other. You supply us with information on aspects of your work that allow us to correctly group your work. You also get your own gallery. Soon search functions will be available to visitors of the site so that they can specify North Norfolk Water Colours, look for keywords in descriptions and more. This will allow visitors to find exactly what they are looking for.
Visitors to our site will find your works, those that are very interested will contact you via your preffered method (email, telephone) to arrange purchase and delivery. Please note that international visitors will be common and this may involve telephone calls at inconvienient hours, email is better in this respect.
Frequently Asked Questions
I haven't got a digital camera or scanner - how do my paintings get included here?
In this case you send ordinary photos to us directly with a small fee per photo to cover costs.
Why do you not take orders with credit cards?
Currently we do not offer this service but in the near future we hope to make this available. We will ensure that the artist recieves payment on the delivery of goods.
How do I deliver my items?
That is totally down to you but at Norfolk Artists we suggest the use of registered delivery services and plenty of packing.
I'm an artist but not based in Norfolk - can I join?
Unfortunately not. Several other artist sites are planned with the same high quality interface, please mail webmaster@norfolkartists.com if you have a county or other region that you think should be prioritised.
Why should I join other artists here, they're my competition?
By becoming part of a larger group and operating from this site, this site will become the place that art buyers come to look for paintings. The more paintings and artists we have operating from this site the more popular it will become, the more popular it becomes the more paintings will be sold. It is the same as being included in a popular gallery. More competition but more visitors.
